On Saturday, 17th July we saw a rocking concert as part of the “2010 International Festival of Carthage” of the famous South African singer Johnny Clegg and his band. The concert took place at a very special location: in the ancient roman amphitheatre of Carthage (Tunisia). It was still more than 30ºC at 22:00 when he started off playing some of latest songs. Later he played more of his songs from the nineties (Dela, Heat, Dust And Dreams, Third World… Child, Asimbonanga, Cruel, Crazy Beautiful World and Shadow Man). Having had tickets for the chairs in the centre of the amphitheatre enabled me to take lots of wonderful pictures of his performance.
